GCCI hosted a productive interaction with the UNICEF India delegation on 15th December, 2025, to explore collaborative opportunities in impactful CSR and community development initiatives across Gujarat. 

From GCCI, Shri Sandeep Engineer, President, GCCI; Shri Rajesh Gandhi, Sr. Vice President, GCCI; Shri Apoorva Thakershy, Chairman, CSR Committee; Dr. Twinkal Patel and Ms. Prachi Patwari, Members, CSR Committee and Shri Jainil Shah, Chairman, Centre for Learning Committee, participated in the meeting.

Shri Rajesh Gandhi, Sr. Vice President, GCCI, highlighted GCCI’s pivotal role in connecting corporates and NGOs to drive measurable CSR impact, while Shri Apoorva Thakershy, Chairman, CSR Committee, shared insights on the upcoming Vibrant PACE initiative. Mr. Bo Beiskjaer, Chief – Resource Mobilization & Partnerships, UNICEF India, briefed about UNICEF’s wide-ranging initiatives in health, nutrition, education, WASH, and adolescent empowerment, along with potential avenues for CSR collaboration.

The UNICEF team included Mr. Bo Beiskjaer, Chief – Resource Mobilization & Partnerships, UNICEF India; Mr. Ankush Singh, Communication, Advocacy & Partnerships Specialist, UNICEF; Mr. Kumar Manish, Communication, Advocacy & Partnerships Consultant, UNICEF Gujarat and Ms. Kruti Pandya, UNICEF Gujarat. The discussion explored possibilities of association with UNICEF as a knowledge or outreach partner for CSR initiatives.

Both organizations look forward to fostering impactful partnerships for the welfare of communities and children across Gujarat.
