On 25th September 2025, the Social Welfare Committee of the GCCI Youth Wing organized a dedicated Women Empowerment Training Session at the Sewa Trade Facilitation Center. This initiative was designed to provide meaningful opportunities to women from small towns and villages, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds yet carry immense potential and the desire to grow.

From an initial pool of over 200 candidates, 20–25 deserving women were carefully selected to participate in a specialized training program focused on the solar rooftop sector. The modules covered during the session aimed to equip participants with practical skills and industry knowledge, enabling them to pursue employment opportunities in the renewable energy field.

This program reflects the Social Welfare Committee’s commitment, under the aegis of GCCI Youth Wing 2025–26, to fostering inclusive growth by creating pathways for women to step into sectors that hold immense promise for the future. By combining skill development with empowerment, GCCI Youth Wing continues to champion initiatives that uplift communities and drive sustainable progress.
